Hi! I’m Vini.
I’ve been tinkering with computers since I was a child. My interests revolve around technology, particularly in:
- Software
- Design
- Product Development
- Management
- Business.
Beyond tech, I’m also into philosophy, education, learning about Japanese culture and indulging in way too much 🍣.
A bit about my journey:
- Launched an anime website from 2000 to 2002 (huge success, 100 visits/day 😅)
- Played with RPG Maker, Mugen, Flash, ActionScript, and web development (2003-2005)
- Dabbled in case mods and hardware (2004-2005)
- Earned my degree in Computer Engineering (2007-2011)
- Founded Codus Tecnologia, a software consulting company (2012)
- We helped companies design, build and scale digital products: from startups MVPs to complex projects with high scalable needs.
- We’ve worked with clients on projects from different areas and technologies: Ruby, Rails, Hanami, Node.js, Serverless, Angular, React, Postgres, MongoDB…
- I’ve always believed that, in order to deliver good software you need to work with people with a growth mindset and I’m proud to say that we’ve trained and I’ve mentored a lot of people that, along the years, have grown from JR, to SR and manager positions
- After almost 9 year running Codus, it was acquired by Creditas in Dez/2019
- Creditas 2020 – 2022 – Technology Training & Development Head
- There, beyond managing teams and learning initiatives
- I’ve hired, onboarded, and trained new engineers in web development and coding best practices
- 2025 – Launched https://github.com/eigenfocus/eigenfocus/ – A self-hosted all-in-one Project Management and Time Tracking tool
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with several technologies, architectures, products at different stages and met with many great people.
